Scout Vehicle Technologies, Inc. develops practical vehicle inspection technology designed to make underbody visibility easier to incorporate into everyday automotive workflows.
Vehitra™ is our drive-over Vehicle Underbody Inspection System. As a vehicle passes over the system at low speed, Vehitra captures underbody images, processes them into a continuous view, and makes the inspection record available on an Android workstation for review, documentation, and reporting.
Our goal is simple: help automotive professionals see more of the vehicle before additional inspection steps are required.
Built Around a Simple Idea
The underside of a vehicle can reveal important visible conditions, yet it is often one of the least convenient areas to inspect during routine vehicle intake.
Traditional underbody inspection may require a vehicle lift, additional time, dedicated workspace, or manual positioning. In many everyday situations, that means the underside of the vehicle may not be reviewed or documented at the beginning of the process.
Vehitra™ was developed around a simple idea: make underbody imaging easier to perform as part of the normal vehicle workflow.
The system is placed directly in the vehicle path. The vehicle drives over it at low speed, the underbody is captured automatically, and the resulting images can be reviewed and recorded from the workstation.
